Aximetric was established in 2000 by modeling and simulation professionals who were instrumental in developing and networking  high-fidelity simulators for distributed interactive simulation (DIS) exercises used in training. They developed metrics for ground simulator interoperability.

Aximetric was started to develop metrics to enhance user experience on the internet for garment and health-care industry.

Dr. Guru Prasad is the founder director of Aximetric. He has over 20 years of experience in the modeling & simulation and defense industry.  Aximetric Subject Matter Experts have designed Dynamic Terrain, M1A1 tank sims, Black hawk and Rotary wing motion simulators, Mobile Parts Hospital Concept for Army, robot end effectors for complex operations, docking systems for satellites and automated shuttle fueling, robotic drives, vision based health care solutions and High Perfornmance Computing for mission critical solutions.
